spelling - words ending with "ur" sound (see the spelling page)
reading - Paul Revere story
math - lesson 50 (Finding an Average) test tomorrow

P.E. - crab soccer
social studies - Life on Plantations
The students were able to sink all of the ships on battleship again. I am amamzed that they were able to conquer the whole board that quickly. The activity they have been working for is to have ice cream sundaes. Is there anyone who would like to donate some paper bowls, plastic spoons, napkins, and/or toppings for that activity? Please give me a call or send an e-mail to let me know.
I enjoyed my Thanksgiving break, and I hope all of the students did too, but it is nice to get back into a routine here at school. Thanks for all the hard work you give.

spelling - pre-test - homophones - rein and reign, and aisle and isle were tricky for a lot of students. They need to know how to match the meaning and spelling for each word.

math - lesson 47 - simplifying mixed measures: such as 5 ft 7 in = ______inches or 7 pounds 12 ounces = ______ ounces
We will watch a movie tomorrow morning as a behavioral reward for the class. A note went home with each student this afternoon regarding that activity. Colonial Days is coming up on Tuesday, November 23. Have a great day!
