  • Buddy Readers

  • Library

  • Math -  Turned in Lesson 104  - Today's topic was Symmetry - homework is: Lesson 105 (due tomorrow) and test tomorrow

  • Science with Mrs. Nelson

  • Journals - red journals were due today: every student is expected to write a journal entry for each school day.

  • Spelling - students were given a new spelling list today they were expected to sort the list with teacher guidance, and cut out the spelling words.  

  • Study Island - Students were asked to complete syllabication in ELA and divisibility in Math.  Then play games in those topics.

  • Reading - Students reading Drylongso, read with me today, and we finished the book.  We began a new book about Navy SEALs.  Students reading The Mostly True Adventures of Homer P.  Figg, and Frindle were able to partner read from their book, and then read a book of their choice. Students reading with partners, or reading the assigned book on their own summarized a chapter from the book they read, then read a book of their own choice, and left tracks of their thinking - due today. This assignment is part of their Independent Work grade.

  • English - Turn in the worksheet 5.7 Abbreviations on Thursday March 22.  Today we reviewed Titles.  homework: Worksheet 5.8 Titles (due tomorrow) and test tomorrow

  • Social Studies - We discussed the fourth and fifth amendments of the U.S. Constitution - and described the amendments in our notebooks.
