• Math - Story Problems About Combining (remember that each equation needs a letter): homework is Lesson 11 due tomorrow
• Super Skills - Computers: students looked at the inside of a computer
• Reading - As a class we began reading Eye of the Storm about a storm chasing photographer
• Spelling - Each student got 2 spelling pages, one to go home, and one to use at school - The spelling test will be Friday.
• Journal - Today's topic was Labor Day. Students were expected to write 10 lines.
• Science - Students took the benchmark test, it has been corrected and returned. Write each vocabulary word, its definition, and draw a picture - due Friday
• English - Sentences and Fragments: homework assignment is page 32 (1-18), due tomorrow 
• Walk-a-Thon Assembly - packets will be coming home today.  Please read the pages inside the envelope.
