- Math - Turned in Math Lesson 98 - Today's topic was Adding and Subtracting Whole Numbers and Decimals Numbers - homework is: Lesson 99 (due tomorrow)
- Science with Mrs. Nelson
- Journals - yellow journals were due today: every student is expected to write a journal entry for each school day.
- Spelling - speed sort
- Circles - We found the diameter and circumference of 12 different circles. When we divided the diameter by the circumference we got a number close to 3.14 . . . Then we talked a little bit about the number pi.
- Study Island - Students worked on finishing any pre-tests that aren't already done, took two tests in ELA or ELA common core and then played games on that site.
- Reading - Students reading The Mostly True Adventures of Homer P. Figg read with me today. All other students read a short story, summarized that story, and then read a book of their own choice, and left tracks of their thinking - due today. This assignment is part of their Independent Work grade.
- English - Turned in worksheet 1: Correct Sentences - Today we reviewed what we know about Proper Nouns and Proper Adjectives - homework is Worksheet 2: Proper Nouns and Adjectives
- Social Studies - Students created (as notes in their notebooks) a diagram showing how a bill becomes a law. We watched "I'm Just a Bill" from Schoolhouse Rock.
