- Math - turned in Lesson 79 - today's topic - Prime and Composite Numbers - homework is: Lesson 80 (due tomorrow) - test tomorrow
- Boots and Bunker Assembly
- Journals - orange journals were due today: every student is expected to write a journal entry for each school day.
- Spelling - students were expected to sort the spelling words, write the rule, and five sentences using two spelling words per sentence. All students finished the assignment in class.
- Writing - The Direct Writing Assessment will be February 22nd for our class. This week we will be reviewing all of the things we have learned about writing a great persuasive essay. Today we discussed the topic sentence and concluding sentence.
- Reading - Students reading The Mostly True Adventures of Homer P. Figg read with me today. All other students read a short story while leaving tracks of their thinking, and then read a book of their own choice, and left tracks of their thinking - due today. This assignment is part of their Independent Work grade.
- English - turned in Worksheet 4 Comparing with Good and Bad - today's topic was Proper Adjectives - we are reviewing the unit with a worksheet for each lesson before the unit test. homework is: Worksheet 5 Proper Adjectives - the writing application is extra credit - due tomorrow.
- Social Studies - Students took notes on the Iroquois League, the Articles of Confederation, and the Virginia Plan.
